One Year After Operation

I have added a few pounds lately though not enough. It's still a long way to get there. To get myself busy, I do some gardening and try to learn how to set up an affiliate website in the internet with the help of Perry. A little late in the afternoon, an hour walk to the park culminates the day.

Status after a Year of Operation

A year ago in July 2008, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. On August 4, 2008 I had a major operation. The following months were periods of adjustments and challenges from chemo treatment and regaining my normal weight to normal daily activities and chores.

My first goal to accomplish is to get back to my normal weight.

The kids posed for a picture with Candy at the Grove. Candy is Perry's classmate in high school at Waukegan, Illinois. She joined us for dinner at Perry's home that same day she visited us.

Palazzo Hotel, here we come!

Everyone was amazed how beautiful the inside of the hotel is. Braden was specially thrilled because of the numerous food stores he saw and the smell that made him hungry and said "I want to eat here, Grandpa".

Grandkids on the Block

We had our grandkids stay with us for at least a week. It was difficult to get them entertained. Doing the same thing every day make them feel bored. Since no one has been in any of the hotels in the strip, we brought them to Bellagio to see the garden display.
